Experts of the all-Ukrainian campaign "Certification of Local Council Deputies" analyzed the declarations of the deputies of the Odesa City Council for 2021-2024. The monitoring covered both the completeness of disclosure and the content of the declared property. The results revealed considerable wealth of individual councillors, particularly in real estate and transportation.
This is described in the article.
Housing issue: leaders in residential real estate
The most apartments in 2024 were declared by MP Dmytro Tantsiura - 33 objects with a total area of 996.7 square meters. Most of them were purchased in 2019. For comparison, in 2023 he owned 31 apartments.
The second largest owner of residential real estate is Vasyl Ieremia, who declared 14.56 residential properties. He also owns the largest total area of residential real estate - 2,419.94 square meters. He owns nine apartments, a house and shares in other properties. His wife owns two apartments and shares in private houses, and his son owns shares in two more houses. In addition, Ieremia has an apartment in the UAE with an area of more than 80 square meters, which is under construction.
Oleh Filimonov declared 6.6 residential properties (947.11 sq.m.), including three houses and an apartment. His wife owns another apartment and shares in other housing.
Oleksandr Ivanitskyi owns six apartments with a total area of 704 square meters, five of which are registered in his wife's name and one in his.
Deputy Viktor Naumchak declared five residential real estate objects with a total area of 1340 square meters, including two houses and two apartments owned by him and one by his wife.
Four MPs did not declare any housing or the right to use it: Liudmyla Varavva, Antonina Kaprosh, Oleksandra Kovalchuk and Tetiana Plaksiy.
MPs' car fleet: who is ahead
Viktor Naumchak declared the most vehicles in 2024 - 10 units, of which seven belong to the MP and three to his wife. The list includes a trailer, trucks, cars, and two watercraft.
Yuriy Schumacher declared nine vehicles - four owned by the MP and five by his wife. Among them: five cars, two trailers and two watercrafts. He bought his last car at the end of 2024.
Oleksiy Yeremitsa and Oleh Etnarovych have seven vehicles each. All of Yeremytsia's vehicles are his personal property: a mini loader, motorcycles, trucks and cars. Etnarovych has one car, and the other six belong to his wife (trucks, a trailer, and a car).
The fifth place is occupied by deputy Iryna Kutsenko - five vehicles, three of which belong to her and two to her husband. The list includes a motorcycle, a trailer, and cars.
At the same time, eight MPs did not declare any vehicles in their possession or use: Maryna Boyko, Liudmyla Varavva, Volodymyr Ivanov, Oleksandra Kovalchuk, Liliia Leonidova, Oleksandr Matveiev, Tetiana Plaksii, and Vitalii Sautenkov.
Interestingly, in 2024, Levon Nikoghosyan 's declaration included a car for the first time - a 2013 Porsche Cayenne purchased by his wife for UAH 99 thousand. Meanwhile, the family of Oleksandr Matveev, who is on the wanted list, has disappeared from the declaration - there is no mention of the Mini Cooper Roadster R59 and Toyota Land Cruiser 200 that used to belong to his wife.
