Construction of Outpatient Clinic in Davydiv Brid Costs ₴ 15.3M More

On March 12, the Department of Territorial Development of the Kherson Regional State Administration announced a new tender for the construction of a modern medical facility on the Prozorro platform with an adjustment. This time, they are ready to allocate UAH 15.3 million from the budget.

Usually, adjustments relate to additional costs that arise due to an increase in the scope of work or rising prices for materials. The contractor must complete the work by December 2026.

In March 2024, the Kherson Regional Health Administration reported on the start of construction of a modern outpatient clinic in the village of Davydiv Brid. At the time, it was explained that the new construction was necessary because the old outpatient clinic was completely destroyed by the Russian army.

The contract for the work was signed with New Heat Technologies LLC. According to the contract, the contractor was supposed to complete the work by the end of 2024, but did not.

Earlier, Intent wrote that the project envisages the construction of a one-story outpatient clinic building that will meet modern standards of functionality, energy efficiency, and inclusiveness. The building will be provided with all the necessary utilities, including water supply, sewerage, electricity, heating, ventilation, and fire protection.

The outpatient clinic is to be equipped with doctors' offices, a treatment room and a vaccination room. In addition, a comfortable waiting area for patients will be created. It is also possible to install solar panels to partially meet energy needs and a rainwater collection system for technical needs.

The project cost is UAH 33.5 million. The European Investment Bank has agreed to provide UAH 21.3 million.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian government has allocated additional funds for the restoration of Kherson and other affected regions. In particular, UAH 5.2 billion will be allocated for the comprehensive restoration of five settlements, including Posad-Pokrovske in the Kherson region.

And the Recovery Service has started looking for a contractor to reconstruct the gas supply system in Posad-Pokrovske. UAH 111.2 million will be spent on this.
