Denmark provides Mykolaiv utilities with 35 million for mobile boiler houses

International partners provided over UAH 35 million to purchase the mobile boilers. The project will ensure the stability of heat supply in case of emergencies.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

The project aims to upgrade and modernize the heating facilities of Mykolaivoblteploenergo to improve the quality of heat supply in Mykolaiv.

To improve the quality of heat supply in the city of Mykolaiv and increase the reliability of the systems, Mykolaivoblteploenergo plans to purchase six solid fuel mobile boiler houses.

The project aims to upgrade and modernize the utility's heating facilities to improve the quality of heat supply in Mykolaiv.

The estimated duration of the project is six months, and it is currently in preparation.

Expected results of the project:

  1. Improved heat supply: ensuring uninterrupted operation due to the reliability of the new boiler houses.
  2. Cost-effectiveness: Reduced maintenance costs due to the introduction of innovative technologies.
  3. Environmental friendliness: reduction of pollutant emissions through the use of modern equipment.

The project budget is UAH 35 million 396 thousand 400. According to the project description, the funds were provided by Denmark, which is an international partner of Mykolaiv region.

The project will help improve the energy efficiency of the enterprise, reduce the environmental burden, and ensure the stability of heat supply in case of emergencies.

Denmark also financed the repair of the bomb shelter of the Mykolaiv Lyceum named after Professor M. Aleksandrov, with a budget of almost two million hryvnias. It is noted that the project has been implemented since September 2024. The estimated duration of the repair is 5 months.

Investing in regional reconstruction despite the war is not uncommon. Recently, the construction of a school farm for more than three hundred million hryvnias was planned in Mykolaiv region. Grant funds for the farm were provided by France. It is planned to build a pig farm, a biogas plant, a waste pellet production line, solar power plants, a thermal complex, and a mini-meat processing plant.
