Dobroslav Village Allocates ₴1.65M in Social Support for 2024

Last year, the Social Protection Department of the Dobroslav Village Council of Odesa Oblast paid UAH 1 million 654 thousand in financial assistance.

This became known from the report of the head of the department, Lyudmyla Vashchenko, "On the implementation of the targeted social support program "Protection and Care".

According to the official, in 2024, more funds were allocated for the treatment and rehabilitation of servicemen, which is 46% of the total amount (UAH 760.8 thousand), while in 2023 the percentage was almost twice as low - 26% of the total amount.

Funds were also allocated for support under the same program:

Financial assistance for treatment amounted to UAH 410 thousand (121 people received assistance), financial assistance for burial amounted to UAH 279 thousand (93 people received assistance), and UAH 18 thousand (seven people received assistance) for solving social and domestic issues.

In addition, in 2024, compensation was paid to individuals who provide social care services on a non-professional basis in the amount of UAH 198,592, and in 2023 this amount was UAH 156,500. As part of the program of compensation for transportation of certain privileged categories of citizens, payments were made to carriers in the amount of UAH 688,400.
