From 50 to 100 thousand: in Odesa, the amount of payments to victims of Russian aggression has been set

Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov has determined the amount of targeted financial assistance to victims and families of those killed as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in the city of Odesa.

According to the press service of the mayor's office, the mayor signed the relevant order on November 19.

It was decided to provide targeted financial assistance to the affected persons depending on the severity of their injuries (subject to inpatient treatment):

Families of the victims will be paid UAH 100 thousand per family member.

To receive assistance, individuals must submit an application and provide the following documents: a passport of a citizen of Ukraine; a taxpayer registration number; information from a banking institution about an open social card account; an extract from the medical record of an inpatient indicating the severity of the injury; a document confirming kinship (if a family member applies). In case of death benefits, a death certificate must also be attached.

Applications can be submitted to the front offices of the Centers for Integrated Social Services of the Department of Labor and Social Policy of Odesa City Council in the city districts.

On November 18, a Russian missile hit the city. As of 9:30 p.m., 55 people have been reported injured, three remain in extremely serious condition. Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov declared November 19 the Day of Mourning for the victims of the Russian missile attack on the city on November 18, which killed 10 people. The number of people killed in a missile attack on Odesa on the afternoon of November 18 has reached 10, including seven police officers, a medic, and two local residents.
