Kherson Receives 16 Tons of Medical Aid Worth ₴3M Amid Ongoing Shelling

<span><span><span>The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin , met with representatives of the PRISON FELLOWSHIP ROMANIA charity foundation. </span></span></span>

<span><span><span>According to him, the foundation handed over almost 16 tons of medicines and acid concentrate for hemodialysis worth more than UAH 3 million to medical institutions in the region.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>This aid is critically important for the region, which suffers daily from Russian shelling. It is aimed at supporting the residents of Kherson region, including patients in need of hemodialysis.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>In addition to medical aid, the philanthropists visited a modular town for internally displaced persons, where they presented gifts to children.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>The meeting discussed further cooperation and support for the region. Oleksandr Prokudin thanked the Foundation's representatives for their efficiency and concern for the needs of Kherson region residents:
"We are grateful for your help and support of those who need it most. Together we will overcome all the challenges!" said the head of the OVA.</span></span></span>

Earlier, Intent wrote that at a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko asked President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to help create a "protective dome" system that could protect residents and critical infrastructure of Kherson from attacks by Russian drones.

It is worth noting that in 11 months of 2024, more than UAH 1 billion was allocated to support more than 25,000 residents of Kherson region who are registered with the region's social services.

Prior to that, Roman Mrochko, the head of Kherson MVA, said that every resident of the community who was injured as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, as well as relatives of the victims, have the right to apply to district councils in Kherson and receive payments under the city's comprehensive Social Protection program.
