The SBU drones attacked the ammunition depots of the 126th Separate Guards Brigade of the Russian Coastal Defense, located near the village of Perevalne in Crimea. As a result of the successful attack, there are dead and wounded people who guarded and were on duty at the military warehouses.

This was reported by Crimea Realii with reference to its sources in the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to the source, the attack hit the facilities where military equipment, weapons and fuel and lubricants were stored. A massive explosion occurred at the site, and a large-scale fire broke out later. Videos circulated on social media show ammunition detonating and thick smoke rising. Because of the strike, Russians temporarily blocked the Simferopol-Alushta highway, which runs nearby.

According to preliminary reports, there are dead and wounded among the Russian military who were on duty at the warehouses. The exact number of casualties is yet to be determined.

The SBU confirmed the operation and emphasized that they will continue to strike legitimate military targets in Crimea to weaken the occupiers' forces.

On the night of May 16, a series of powerful explosions were recorded in the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to media reports, the explosions occurred over Sevastopol, Yalta, and in the Perevalny area. The occupation authorities of the peninsula announced another drone attack and reported the operation of Russian air defense systems. According to them, several drones were allegedly shot down over the Black Sea.

Earlier, the guerrillas reported significant losses among the Russians after the attack on the airfield in Crimea. As a result of the attack, Russian soldiers were killed and wounded.

The guerrillas also discovered that the Russians have begun to redeploy their aircraft to inactive airfields. For example, the occupiers are working on runways, repairing buildings and moving military equipment and people to Zavodske airport in the temporarily occupied Simferopol.

In addition, ATES agents uncovered a large fuel depot used to supply Russian military equipment located in the Kamenolomna area in the Saki district of Crimea. The warehouse contained not only fuel tanks, but also military equipment that was in storage.
