In Mykolaiv, a man from Volyn, who was previously detained by employees of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) in Lutsk, was found dead.

This is stated in the story of Avers TV channel.

According to the wife of the deceased, Volodymyr Hladunets was first detained in Lutsk and sent to Mykolaiv. There, according to her, the police found him in poor condition, but instead of taking him to the hospital, they handed him over to the military law enforcement service.

A week after his arrest, Volodymyr's body was found in a river in Mykolaiv. The police claim that there were no signs of foul play, but the family is demanding an investigation and explanations of what happened to the man after his arrest.

"I'm so disappointed, I thought I could trust our country and state authorities, but they treat people indifferently and irresponsibly," said Ruslana Gladunets.

Intent has asked Mykolaiv Regional TCC and JV for a comment and is currently awaiting a response.

Earlier, a scandal erupted in Mykolaiv over the death of a deaf man after being served with a summons. According to local telegram channels, Serhiy Ukhorenko's body was found just 500 meters from the military unit. Rumors were spreading online that the cause of death was a heart attack, and the body allegedly showed signs of bruises and fractures.

The Mykolaiv regional CCC and JV explained that the alert group had handed Uhorenko a summons to clarify his credentials, and that he had come to the military commissariat on his own the same day. It turned out that the man was registered in another district, not wanted, but had to undergo a medical examination. The medical board then found him fit for military service and sent him to a military unit. However, after arriving at the recruitment center, he took advantage of the crowd and left the territory without permission.

Scandals around the work of the TCC regularly arise in Odesa as well. Intent has repeatedly written about this. For example, Odesa journalist and writer Victoria Koltunova claimed that soldiers from one of the territorial centers for recruitment and social support grabbed her son on the street of Odesa, took him out of town, and severely beat him, demanding money.
