The customer was the Mykolaiv Parks utility company. The expected cost of the procurement is UAH 3 million 500 thousand. The purpose of the procurement is stated as the renewal of the green fund at the improvement facilities.

Yes, they are going to buy: Large-leaved linden - 12 units, Ginnala maple - 6 units, golden ash - 65 units, common privet - 13,380 units. We also plan to purchase shrubs: Thunberg's barberry - 1028 units, sharp-leaved holly - 48 units, berry yew - 824 units.

The planting material of trees and shrubs to be planted at the landscaping facilities must meet state standards, be well moistened and free from pests and diseases.

Recently, environmental projects by Mykolaiv youth won a grant from an American foundation. Out of 17 projects submitted to the competition, 9 received funding for implementation. Thanks to these projects, Mykolaiv will become an even greener and more attractive city where everyone can feel the changes for the better. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, environmental damage in Mykolaiv region has reached more than UAH 90 billion. This amount includes damage to water and land resources, as well as nature reserves. Calculations are ongoing as the damage is increasing every day.

Fires also cause environmental damage. Thus, compared to last year, the number of fires in natural ecosystems in the region increased by 103 percent. In addition, in the summer season, not only ordinary dead wood but also coniferous forests and fields with grain crops are at risk.
