After a major overhaul, tram No. 1058 has returned to Mykolaiv's routes. Earlier it was presented on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of tram traffic in the city, and now it has passed all the necessary tests and received permits for operation.

According to Mykolayivelektrotrans, on February 21 and 22, the updated tram will run on route 6.

Yuriy Smetana, director ofMykolayvyelectrotrans, noted that this tram has several important updates:

We remind you that you can track the traffic in real time through the CityBus and EasyWay apps.

Starting March 1, tram and trolleybus fares will be raised in Mykolaiv. A one-time ticket from the driver will cost UAH 10, and when paying via QR code or at a kiosk, it will cost UAH 8.

Recently, Yuriy Smetana said that the company's total losses have already exceeded 180 million hryvnias, and the amount is approaching 200 million.

In addition, Mykolaiv has decided to expand the network of city electric transport routes. According to the changes, there will be a new trolleybus route No. 8 connecting Budivelnykiv Street with the Matviyivka neighborhood. The length of the route is 27 kilometers and the full circle length is 49 kilometers.

In December last year, the city launched a new trolleybus route No. 1, connecting two remote neighborhoods - Severnyi and Kulbakino. Four modern PTS trolleybuses with an autonomous range of up to 20 kilometers operate on this route. The schedule is designed to accommodate peak hours to ensure comfortable passenger transportation.
