Natalia Chekhuta Acquires House in Vinnytsia Amid Corruption Issues

Natalia Chekhuta, the first deputy head of the Kherson MVA, has purchased a private house in Vinnytsia region.

The Center for Public Investigations learned about this from a report on significant changes in the official's property status.

On February 2, 2025, Chekhuta declared an <b>82.3 m²</b> house in the village of Yakushyntsi, Vinnytsia region.

The ownership was registered on <b>January 24, 2025</b>, on the terms of <b>joint ownership</b> with Ukrainian citizen Oleh Chekhuta. The value of the house indicated in the declaration is <b>UAH 890,718</b>.

It is worth noting that, according to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC), Chekhuta's position is on the list of those associated with <b>a high level of corruption risks</b>. At the same time, her declaration contains no information about other significant assets, vehicles or expenses.

As a reminder, Natalia Chekhuta is the first deputy head of the Kherson City Military Administration, which was established after the full-scale invasion to manage the city under martial law.

Earlier, Intent reported that Natalia Chekhuta declared UAH 1.2 million in business income, salary and assistance for IDPs in 2023. Her husband, Oleh Chekhuta, declared his salary, pension, state and charitable assistance.

The couple keeps UAH 1.9 million in cash. They own an apartment in Kreminna (Luhansk region). The family also owns two cars: A 2007 VAZ and a 2022 Skoda Kodiaq, which the official's husband bought for UAH 1.5 million.

Meanwhile, the wife of the rector of Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University, Yuriy Kyrylov, who was fired on New Year's Eve, bought a new apartment in Kyiv for almost $5 million.
