On April 10, a street exhibition of destroyed Russian military equipment and damaged Ukrainian facilities was opened at Kulikovo Field in Odesa.

An intent photojournalist came to see the trophies of the Ukrainian army.

Among the exhibits are infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, a 152-mm self-propelled gun 2C5 Hyacinth-S and the remains of destroyed equipment. In particular, a Soviet-style BMP-2 equipped with small arms, several armored personnel carriers, and a mangled transformer were installed on the square. Particular attention is drawn to the modernized Russian BTR-80: it has a modified turret and a machine gun - such equipment is actively used by the enemy at the front.

Along with the trophy vehicles, tragic symbols of the war were also presented - the remains of Ukrainian energy facilities destroyed by Russian strikes and vehicles used to evacuate civilians, including those with the inscription "Children".

The exhibition was opened in the presence of representatives of military units, local authorities, energy companies and the public. The organizers sought not only to showcase the trophies of the Ukrainian army, but also to remind of the horrors that the Russian army brings to Ukrainian soil.

The 2S5 Hyacinth-S is a Soviet 152-mm self-propelled gun created in the 1970s for long-range fire. It is designed to destroy enemy manpower, fortifications, equipment and command posts. It is capable of firing standard artillery shells at a distance of up to 28 km, and with the use of active-reactive ammunition - up to 33-40 km. The ammunition includes up to 30 shells, which are loaded separately - first the shell, then the charge. The crew consists of five to seven people. The rate of fire is up to five rounds per minute. The vehicle's protection is limited to light armor, which provides protection only against bullets and fragments.

Due to its high accuracy and range, the Hyacinth-S is often used in counter-battery warfare, but due to the active use of UAV reconnaissance and precision weapons, it is increasingly being targeted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
