The Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support commented on statements in social media about the beating of a man in Velykodolynsk.

According to the press service of the regional center, the man had to call an ambulance not because of the actions of the military.

"The other day, during a routine alert, a mobile group of the Odesa Regional Military and Civil Defense Center stopped a local resident in Velykodolynske village to check his military registration documents. During the check, the citizen became ill and an ambulance was immediately called to the scene. The citizen was hospitalized, doctors diagnosed an epileptic seizure," the TCC noted.

Later, on October 12, according to the military, the patient was transferred from the intensive care unit to the neurological department, after which he wrote a statement refusing further treatment and was discharged the same day.

"The information disseminated online about the alleged use of physical force by representatives of the CCC and JV during this event is fake. We urge citizens not to fall for manipulations and not to spread unverified information. The enemy is waging war not only on the battlefield, but also in the information space, using every opportunity to destabilize society," the military said.

On July 19, social media also reported that a man had fainted and later died in the walls of the military enlistment office. At that time, the Center for Public Investigations contacted the Odesa Regional Military Commissariat and JV, but received no official comment on the incident.

On July 15, a video showing two people in military uniforms fighting with a civilian passerby on Kanatna Street was posted on social media.

The conflict between the CCC and emergency medical workers in Odesa became known throughout Ukraine.

Last year, the CCC was already involved in a scandal with the mobilization of a man with epilepsy, who was found fit for service and later died.
