Last week, a new location of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Odesa was opened, with the first exhibition being the project "Calypso Mirages: Captive of the Depths by Dmytro Dulphan".

Therefore, we decided to dedicate the live stream of Intent.Insight on March 11 to this event, and to art in Odesa during the war.

How can you characterize contemporary Odesa art? Is Ukrainian contemporary art competitive? What does the city lack in the cultural context? These and other questions will be answered by Anna Morokhovska, curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art, in a conversation with Valeriy Bolgan, editor-in-chief of Intent.

Every week, Intent.Insight looks at one problem that worries Ukrainians and raises topical issues and tries to solve specific problems.

The previous airing on February 25 was devoted to the meeting "Strategy for the Future of Odesa". The previous one was devoted to the epidemiological situation in the city, explained by Olena Kolodenko, director of Odesa Primary Health Care Center #3.

Before that, the Ether was dedicated to the Odesa Archaeological Museum, which recently received equipment to create virtual models of valuable exhibits from the museum's collection and began creating 3D models of 60 exhibits. And how to protect exhibits from war.

Before that, Ether was dedicated to the problem of parking in the city and the increase in the cost of an hour of parking.

The previous day's event was dedicated to the suspension of funding for all USAID programs in Ukraine for 90 days after the State Department ordered an audit of all international aid.

Before that, the evening was devoted to answering questions about mobilization. Valeriy Bolgan discussed these issues with Tetiana Choroba, head of the regional recruiting group "South" of the 4th recruiting center of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The last interview in 2024 was devoted to a conversation about possible elections in Ukraine in 2025. Valeriy Bolgan's interlocutor then was Anatoliy Boyko, head of the Odesa regional organization of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine.
