Students of Odesa schools will return to full-time education on Monday, April 14, after a break due to the drop in temperature.

This was reported by Olena Buynevych , Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council.

According to her, on Sunday, April 13, the department's specialists checked the temperature in school classrooms and children can return to school in those where the temperature is above 17 degrees Celsius.

"Principals and teachers are as interested in full-time education as parents and children. The end of last week proved that the decision to go remote was correct, so we are acting in accordance with the sanitary regulations," she said.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center predicts warming on Monday, April 14. For example, in Odesa, the air temperature is expected to be 11 to 13 degrees Celsius in the daytime and three to five degrees Celsius in the evening.

Almost three thousand families in 12 settlements in Odesa region are without electricity due to the bad weather, DTEK reported.
