In mid-April, the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission adopted Resolution No. 550, which provides for a change in the level of the standard rated voltage in the end-user network from 220 to 230 volts.
This is what Intent's Accent is all about.
This voltage should appear in the sockets from July 1 this year in all regions of Ukraine without exception, including those areas where active hostilities are taking place. What will change for consumers, ordinary citizens, are there any risks for household appliances, is there any need to reconfigure anything or buy additional stabilizers, and why do Odesa residents need these additional 10 volts?
Most modern household appliances imported to Ukraine are designed for a voltage range of 220-240 V, which is in line with the new standard. The transition eliminates the discrepancy between the labeling of appliances and the actual voltage in the network.
