The Patrol Police Department of Odesa Region has denied the information about a traffic accident involving Artem Khylynichenko, deputy head of the regional patrol police department, who was allegedly driving a car while intoxicated.

The police said that on November 17, at the corner of Mykola Lysenko and Oleksiy Vadatursky streets, an accident with victims occurred involving a Mitsubishi and a Suzuki.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was moving down Oleksiy Vadatursky Street towards Itzhak Rabin Street and did not give way to the Suzuki, resulting in a collision.

"The passenger of the Suzuki was indeed the deputy head of the department, who was injured. His wife, who was driving the car, was also injured. It should be noted that the driver of the Mitsubishi was in a state of intoxication. The driver of the Suzuki, according to doctors, is sober," the police emphasized.

According to the police, the circumstances and details of the accident are also confirmed by eyewitnesses who were near the scene. The accident was registered by an investigative team, and the investigation is still ongoing.
