Police record consequences of enemy shelling in Kherson region

In Kherson region, police recorded the consequences of an enemy attack. Currently, there are wounded and dead among the civilian population.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police of the Kherson region.

In the Kherson region, police are documenting the consequences of Russian shelling of residential buildings and educational institutions.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have been continuously shelling civilian infrastructure in Kherson and Beryslav districts using artillery, mortars and UAVs.

Seventeen settlements came under fire. In total, 37 objects were damaged, including 19 private houses, 8 apartment buildings, a lyceum, an administrative building, a university, 3 civilian cars and an ambulance, as well as gas pipelines and a garage.

In Zelenivka, artillery strikes on residential buildings injured a 53-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man, who were diagnosed with blast injuries and contusions. Four private houses and a garage were also damaged.

Two private houses and two cars were damaged by shelling in Chornobaivka. In Antonivka, a 55-year-old man was injured and taken to the hospital with an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to his leg.

On November 4, during the shelling of the region, the Russian military hit an educational and medical institution and a public transport stop; three high-rise buildings and 19 private houses were damaged in residential areas of the region's settlements. Four people were injured.

On November 2, 1 person was killed and 10 others were injured, including 3 children, as a result of Russian aggression. The occupants shot at educational institutions, a library, a church, a post office and shops; in residential areas of the region's settlements, they damaged 5 high-rise buildings and 14 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline, garages and private cars.

Since August, the Russians have dropped explosives on civilians in Kherson region almost 7,000 times. Ambulances are the primary target, followed by city buses and civilian cars. Explosives are also dropped from drones and directly on people on the streets or in the city.
