Policemen stabbed on Kulikove Pole in Odesa

On May 2, a man armed with two knives attacked police officers on public order duty at Kulykove Pole in Odesa.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police in Odesa region.

As a result of the attack, two law enforcement officers were stabbed.

One of the police officers used his service firearm to stop the attacker.

The attacker was wounded and hospitalized, as were the injured police officers.
An investigative team is currently working at the scene to establish all the circumstances of the incident. Investigators are classifying the attacker's actions as an attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer (Article 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
