Over the past day, more than 25 settlements in the Kherson region came under fire. The attacks killed one person and injured another, and damaged residential buildings and infrastructure.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Over the day from May 15 to 16, 2025, more than 25 settlements in the Kherson region came under enemy attack. Among them are Antonivka, Sadove, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka and the city of Kherson.
Russian troops shelled residential areas: 3 high-rise buildings and 7 private houses were damaged, and a gas pipeline, outbuildings, and private cars were destroyed.
The shelling killed 1 person and injured another.
On May 14-15, the Russian army did not stop shelling the Kherson region. In total, at least 36 settlements in the region came under enemy fire. Residential areas were shelled - one multi-storey building and 12 private houses were damaged, and several cars were destroyed. Nine civilians were wounded.
A day earlier, critical and social infrastructure came under fire again. Four multi-storey buildings, five private houses, a cell tower, warehouses, an outbuilding, garages and cars were damaged. Two people were injured in the attacks. At night, a shell hit a residential building in Antonivka, trapping a man and a woman under the rubble. They survived and managed to get out on their own.
Earlier, on May 11-12, five civilians were injured as a result of shelling. Five high-rise buildings, nine private houses, a cell tower and private cars were damaged. Among the victims is a 10-year-old girl from Bilozerka. She was trapped under the rubble of her own house after another shelling. According to the Kherson Regional Children's Hospital, the child has severe injuries: mine-blast and craniocerebral injuries, bruises to internal organs and numerous contusions. She is currently in intensive care in a serious condition.
