The Russian occupation forces have intensified mass checks in Crimea under the guise of "anti-sabotage exercises."

According to the Atesh guerrilla movement, the military are stopping cars, searching people and checking their phones in search of pro-Ukrainian sentiment among the local population.

According to the agents, such actions are part of a repressive campaign against Crimeans, as guerrilla movements on the peninsula are becoming more active and causing panic among the occupiers.

"The reason for this panic is obvious - guerrilla movements are increasing their activity, making the occupiers feel insecure even in the rear. If you know where these activities are taking place, please let us know. This will help protect innocent people and increase pressure on the occupiers," the statement reads.

Recently, Atesh reported that in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Russian Guard began to guard wounded soldiers in hospitals to prevent their escape. Soldiers control the perimeter of medical institutions and check patients' documents. Such measures were introduced after cases of escapes from hospitals related to the systematic sending of the wounded to the front, where they often die.

On March 1, agents reported significant losses among Russians after a strike on an airfield in Crimea. In particular, some of the injured occupants were hospitalized in Saki, and the seriously wounded were evacuated to Simferopol.

It was also reported that the Russian military was actively moving equipment in Crimea after the attacks by Ukrainian UAVs.
