The Russian occupiers are trying to compensate for the lack of qualified personnel on the left bank of the Kherson region by hiring people with dubious reputations. One of them is Serhiy Vishnevsky, who heads the Department of Philosophy and History at the so-called Kherson Pedagogical University, created by the occupation administration.
This was reported by journalists of IPC-Pivden.
According to the information, Vishnevsky was born in 1977 in Yalta. In addition to teaching at the pseudo-university, he also works as a deputy director of the Yalta school and heads a department at the so-called "Vernadsky KFU".
However, Vishnevsky's peculiarity is his passion for military and historical reconstruction, which borders on fanaticism. He regularly dresses up in Soviet military uniforms from World War II and participates in staged "battles" in the Crimean mountains. He actively involves students and schoolchildren in his "historical experiments."
In addition, Vishnevsky participates in illegal Russian archaeological excavations in the occupied Crimea.
The journalists drew attention to the fact that people with similar views and teaching methods are forming a new generation of students in the Kherson region under the control of the occupation authorities.
Recently, the court announced the verdict against the former deputy director of a school in Henichesk, who converted the school to Russian standards and destroyed Ukrainian textbooks.
The prosecutor's office also brought to court the case of a 62-year-old teacher from Kherson who headed a department at the occupiers' pseudo-university and implemented Russian standards. She will be tried for collaboration.
In addition, the court sentenced two pensioners for managing occupation schools in Kherson region. They were convicted of collaboration, but so far in absentia.
