Russians Kill 53 Ukrainian POWs in Olenivka Barracks Strike

On July 29, 2022, the Russians committed a war crime against Ukrainian prisoners of war who were held in a barracks in Olenivka in the occupied Donetsk region. It is now known that at least 53 people died in the barracks and more than 130 were wounded.

The story of the soldier with the call sign Stifler, who was probably there during the strike, is told by his sister Vasylisa Dobrova, a photographer, public figure and volunteer with the Ukrainian Red Cross.
