On Frantsuzsky Boulevard, trees fell directly on the tram tracks, which temporarily stopped tram traffic. Emergency crews worked at the scene, and traffic has been restored.

The Black Sea and Azov Sea Hydrometeorological Center warned of bad weather the day before, issuing a storm warning in the Odesa region. Northwest wind gusts could reach 24 m/s. Sleet, rain and reduced visibility to 500-1000 meters were forecast in the city and region.

The city authorities urged Odesa residents to be especially careful - not to leave cars under trees and near power lines, avoid walking, and limit their movements around the city, especially for children, the elderly, and pregnant women.

The storm in the Black Sea poses a separate threat, as it has increased the danger of mines. Sea mines can break free from their anchors and drift along the coast. If you find dangerous objects, you should immediately contact the police by calling 102.

Forecasters had warned of bad weather the day before - a yellow level of danger was declared throughout southern Ukraine, including Odesa region.
