For the third time, the municipal enterprise Specialized Utility Company has announced a tender to find a contractor for the construction of the road surface of the Zakhidne cemetery.
This is stated in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.
We are talking about the territory within the plots: 304-314, 304a-314a, 308a-274, 314a-273a, 71. The expected cost of the procurement is UAH 18 million 731.6 thousand, and the works are scheduled to be completed by October 31, 2025. The procurement format is open bidding with special conditions.
The Western Cemetery was opened in 2000 near the Dva Stolpa interchange. It is one of the largest cemeteries, covering an area of more than 200 hectares. On memorial days, the cemetery even runs a special free bus for visitors.
They have tried to find a contractor for these works twice before. Two companies took part in the previous auction: Dorstroy Private Enterprise and Stroyspetstechnika Limited Liability Company. Initially, StroyspetsTechnika LLC was considered the winner, which was ready to work for UAH 16 million 211.4 thousand, and then it was supposed to be awarded to a competitor who was ready to work for UAH 18 million 548.7 thousand.
In the end, the winner of the tender was the LLC. The commission decided to extend the consideration of the proposals for 20 days, i.e. until February 19. In the end, the proposals of both companies were rejected.
The private enterprise Dorstroy, in turn, also participated in the first auction held in November 2024, but it also failed to win because the competitor's offer was more cost-effective. However, at first, cheaper offers were rejected, and later the results of the auction were canceled altogether.
