Three Women Suspected of Collaborating in Kherson Occupation

In 2022,Lyudmila Guseva, Olena Ustymova and Svetlana Frolova headed the department in the occupation administration of the Kherson city community. The National Police of Ukraine notified them in absentia of suspicion of collaboration for their crimes.

National Police investigators found that Lyudmyla Husieva, a 47-year-old native of Ternopil and resident of Kherson, headed preschools #83 in Kherson and #53 in Antonivka before the occupation. At the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she was in charge of kindergarten No. 35. During the occupation, she illegally took over as director of this kindergarten and participated in the looting of this and neighboring kindergartens. In the summer of 2022, she voluntarily headed the preschool education department of the occupation administration of Kherson.

Olena Ustymova , a native and resident of Kherson, 55, was formerly the director of kindergarten #76, and from 2021 to 2023, she was the director of kindergarten #82 in Kherson. In 2020, Ustymova ran for the Kherson City Council as a candidate of the Green Party of Ukraine, but was not elected. Ustymova's first position under the occupiers was director of the illegally created Kherson "kindergarten No. 82". The woman actively recruited people to cooperate with the enemy.

The third suspect is 41-year-old Svitlana Frolova from Kherson, formerly the head of the Kherson-based Zveb LLC, which was engaged in computer repair and computer programming. Today, she is the legal director and co-owner of Auto Profi Trade LLC, a Kherson-based company registered in 2021 that is engaged in international activities and trade in automobiles and passenger vehicles. And in the summer of<span>2022, she became the head of the fuel and energy complex department of the occupation administration of the Kherson city community.</span>

The National Police of Ukraine notified all three women in absentia of suspicion of collaboration. They face five to ten years in prison with confiscation of property.

Earlier, the SBU exposed the activities of Oleksandra Pshenychna in the occupied territory of Kherson region. The woman used to be the head of the village of Zaozerne, and after the occupation she collaborated with the enemy and ran an illegal administration. In addition, Oleksandr Filenko, the head of Radensk and Chelburda villages, was served a notice of suspicion . The SBU also served suspicion notices in absentia to two residents of Kherson who collaborated with the Russian invaders during the occupation of the city. One of them is a former manager ofKhersongaz JSC.
