Several events that took place this week caught our attention and decided what this week's Focus would be.
In Odesa, several memorial plaques were dismantled in one way or another in a few days. Some plaques allegedly just fell and broke, some went missing, and a real fight broke out over one of them.
The residents of Odesa who fought with the activists and law enforcement officers, based on the statements of two representatives of the NGO, registered information in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 125 (light bodily harm) and Part 4 of Article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers also drew up a report against the woman who damaged the sign for violating state standards, norms and rules in the field of landscaping, rules for landscaping of settlements (Article 152 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses).
As always, Accent journalists tried to deal with the incident in a concise and substantive manner.
