A network of centers for training citizens for national resistance will be launched in Ukraine - they will appear in all regions of the country, including Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

According to the press service of the Office of the President, the Cabinet of Ministers made the decision by approving the procedure for the creation, operation, and requirements for such centers.

They noted that the relevant order was given by Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with representatives of civil society.

Representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Territorial Defense Forces, regional military administrations, as well as public and volunteer organizations took part in the preparation. The document was developed under the coordination of Deputy Head of the Office of the President Vereshchuk.

The centers will be headed by heads appointed by regional councils upon the recommendation of the regional executive office. Control over their work is also entrusted to regional administrations - they have to report to the Defense Ministry on a quarterly basis.

Veterans who will become instructors will help prepare civilians for national resistance. They will receive special training and certification at military universities. The standard training program will be approved by the TRO forces.

The government believes that the creation of such centers is an important step to strengthen the country's defense capabilities and unite society in the face of threats.

The Ukrainian government has recently allocated UAH 1.8 billion for reconstruction for 180 communities in nine regions most affected by Russian aggression. Among them are Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. The funds will be used for the most urgent needs: emergency repair work after shelling, construction of protective shelters, purchase of special equipment for utilities, and repair of heating and gas networks.

Intent has already written that the Cabinet of Ministers has allocated additional funds for the restoration of Kherson and other affected regions. In particular, UAH 5.2 billion will be allocated for the comprehensive restoration of five settlements, including Posad-Pokrovske in Kherson region.

The Government of Ukraine has also allocated UAH 16.6 million from the state budget for Pivdenoukrainsk in Mykolaiv region. The funds will be used to implement recovery projects in 2025.
