The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine has scheduled a hearing on charges of misappropriation of UAH 9.2 million by the former deputy head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Muratov, and the head of the administration's public procurement monitoring department, Andriy Notevsky.

According to the court's ruling, the hearing will be open and scheduled for April 22.

The trial will be conducted by a three-judge panel of the court. The court dismissed the motion to request documents. The court attached to the criminal proceedings the objections to the rulings of the investigating judges and will assess them based on the results of the case.

The issue of the list of witnesses will be resolved when the scope of evidence to be examined is established. The complaints against the decisions, actions and inactions of the detective and prosecutor filed by the defense were attached to the criminal proceedings and the arguments expressed in them will be assessed following the trial.

At the same time, the court refused to cancel the arrest and change the measure of restraint for the defendants' defense lawyers.

Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine refused to return the indictment to prosecutors for the former deputy head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Muratov.

In February, the HACC Appeals Chamber refused to close the case of Oleh Muratov, former deputy head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, and Andriy Notevsky, head of the procurement monitoring department. They are accused of abuse in the procurement of food worth UAH 9.2 million.

Earlier, the Fifth Administrative Court of Appeal denied Muratov the right to be appointed to the panel of judges. Also, the former deputy head of the Odesa Regional Administrative Court, who was dismissed on suspicion of corruption , appealed to the Court of Appeal against the decision of the District Administrative Court, which refused to reinstate him in his position.

In early January, the then head of the Odesa Regional Military District Administration, Maksym Marchenko, dismissed his deputy, Oleh Muratov, who was suspected of taking a bribe.

On the evening of January 9, the Primorskyi Court of Odesa granted the prosecutor's request and suspended Oleh Muratov, the deputy head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, from his duties.

On the morning of January 9, it became known that Oleh Muratov was released from the pre-trial detention center on bail of UAH 3 million 220,800.
