In Voznesensk, veterans Oleksii Kudria and Leonid Degodyi founded Veteran KDK LLC, which specializes in the production of concrete products for construction.
According to the press service of the Voznesensk City Council, Oleksii and Leonid came to the defense of Ukraine in February 2022, when the full-scale invasion began. After two years of service, they decided to join forces and open a joint business, in which they had previously worked separately.
In the summer of 2024, the veterans were trained under the Business Model Validation program at the Voznesensk Veterans Space. In the fall, they exchanged experience with entrepreneurs from the Domanivska community and received advice on registering a business and choosing its form. As a result, they officially registered their own company.
Veteran KDK LLC will not only operate in the construction industry but also have a social mission. The veterans plan to create jobs for their comrades-in-arms, support them in difficult life circumstances, and honor the memory of fallen defenders.
"We want this business to become not only a source of income, but also a platform to help our comrades," say Oleksii and Leonid.
This project was made possible through the cooperation of veterans with the local Department for Veterans and Their Families.
As Intent previously wrote, seven specialists in support of war veterans and demobilized persons started working in Mykolaiv region in December 2024. These specialists provide advice to veterans and their families on social, legal, educational and other issues.
In addition, in 2024, veterans in Mykolaiv received grants for business development worth more than UAH 67 million. The Made in Ukraine offices are already operating in Mykolaiv and Pervomaisk, and will open in Bashtanka and Voznesensk districts by the end of the year.
