Volodymyr Senyk, a deputy of the Kherson Regional Council from the OPFL, recently became the acting deputy mayor and head of the housing and communal services department of Pivdenne, Odesa Oblast.

According to Mist, Senyk was appointed on February 18 for a three-month term.

"In a telephone conversation, Volodymyr Senyk confirmed that he was the one who was appointed to the position and said that he would be in charge of the city's municipal economy," the media outlet said.

In the spring of 2024, Senyk got a job as deputy director of the Khmelnytsky Housing and Communal Service in Odesa. Previously, he worked as the head of a trolleybus depot at the Odessmiskelektrotransutilitycompany. In 2017, Senyk worked as a service manager at Khersonelectrotrans.

In 2015, Volodymyr Senyk ran for the Kherson City Council from the Opposition Bloc. In the same year, he was elected to the Dniprovskyi District Council in Kherson from the Opposition Bloc. And in 2020, he was elected to the Kherson district and regional councils from the OPFL.

Earlier in Odesa, Tamila Afanasyeva, a member of the regional council from the banned OPFL , was appointed director of a municipal institution. According to the order of Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov, Tamila Afanasyeva will head the municipal institution "Grant Office "Odesa 5T" with a salary according to the staffing table starting from August 28, 2024.

And Mykolaiv City Council refused to allow Oleh Tretiak , a deputy from the banned OPFL, to resign early. Only 18 deputies voted in favor of Oleh Tretiak's decision to resign of his own free will, out of the required 28 votes. It should be recalled that this is the second time that the members of Mykolaiv City Council have failed to vote for the termination of the powers of this deputy. The first failed vote took place at the meeting of the twenty-sixth session of the Mykolaiv City Council on November 28.
