The cost of a school shelter in Mykolaiv region has increased to 47 million

A lyceum in the village of Mykhailivka, Mykolaiv district, Mykolaiv region, is preparing to build a new radiation shelter worth UAH 46.67 million.
Information about this was published on the electronic procurement portal Prozorro.
The tender is marked "adjustment". Probably, the procurement was updated and the relevant documentation was added.
The total cost of the works is estimated at UAH 46 million 673 thousand. The main source of funding is the state budget, which covers more than UAH 39 million. Another 7.5 million will come from the local budget.
The tender was announced by the Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Stepivka Village Council.
The deadline to apply is May 15, and the auction is scheduled for the same day. The auction is declared "with peculiarities," which means a short time frame and, in all likelihood, no competition.
According to the plan, the protective structure will have several entrances and exits. It will be equipped with plumbing, ventilation, heating, a fire alarm system, Internet access and a generator.
A medical room, a cafeteria, water storage tanks will be built inside the bomb shelter, and conditions for children's education and recreation will be created.
The construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025.
Earlier, according to the DREAM ecosystem, the approved funding for the project to equip the shelter at St. Michael's Lyceum amounted to UAH 41.07 million.
It is worth adding that the Mykhailivskyi Lyceum of the Stepivska village council is designed for 300 students, and currently 222 children are enrolled in it.
Meanwhile, in the Mykolaiv region, a tender for the overhaul of another radiation shelter in the Stepkivska gymnasium worth UAH 19 million was suspended. The procurement procedure was announced through the Prozorro system, but is currently suspended due to complaints. After that, the commission of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine decided to oblige the Department of Urban Planning, Architecture, Capital Construction and Development Projects of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration to amend the tender documentation for the overhaul of the bomb shelter.
