The job fair on Vyshyvanka Day in Dobroslav, Odesa region, was attended by Serhiy Frolov, an inspector of the assault company of the II battalion of the Tsunami regiment of the united assault brigade "Luty", who said that the brigade needs machine gunners, UAV pilots, grenade launchers, stormtroopers, and combat medics.
According to an Int'l correspondent, he also noted that people who join the brigade become police officers and after the war ends, they retain their position and can choose the unit they want to work in.
At the fair, such well-known companies as ARBER (which creates clothing, footwear and accessories for women and men), Delta Wilmar (which produces oil and fat products and ingredients for bakery, confectionery and dairy producers) were invited to work.
Specialists of the Odesa Center for Vocational Education of the State Employment Service told about opportunities to take short-term courses (from three to 8.5 months) in various specialties (more than 30) upon referral from the employment service. You can also write your own business plan and receive grants (without exams) to start your own business. The educational institution was created so that adults who have already graduated from schools can be trained at this institution through the employment center either on a paid basis as an individual or at the expense of an employer who is interested in this.
The fair was also attended by Mykyta Korenev, director of the Odesa Regional Employment Center, Alla Vyshniakova, representative of the Odesa District Administration, specialists from the regional SES, Dobroslav SES department, employers from Dobroslav and Vyzyr communities, and representatives of Odesa vocational schools. According to Nikita Korenev, director of the SES, this is a national fair that takes place every year and its goal is to promote employment.
The focus is on attracting women to the labor market, especially to those professions where men are traditionally represented. He said that the Employment Service has a new free retraining program for those women who intend to master professions traditionally more represented by men. There are 31 professions to choose from. The head of the Center also noted that employers from various industries are represented at the event, who have to tell more about their companies, vacancies, working conditions, career opportunities, and there is also an opportunity to have a preliminary interview at the event, and employment service specialists provide advice, help with resume writing, and familiarize themselves with opportunities for training, retraining, and realizing themselves as entrepreneurs by receiving grants.
Mental health consultant Margarita Bezpalko said that mental health specialists from the all-Ukrainian program "How are you?" were present at the event and everyone could get acquainted with the route that was established for the Dobroslav community. The program "Are you okay?" is about helping people calm themselves down and self-support.
Tetyana Kolesnyk, Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Odesa Center for Vocational Education, noted that their school teaches more than 30 specialties. Graduates of the 9th grade are invited to study for 3 years and graduates of the 11th grade for 1 year. These are working specialties: bricklayer, locksmith, plasterer, electrician, hairdresser, cook, and others.
