Odesa Launches MISTO Platform to Enhance Quality of Life and Services

Odesa city authorities have announced the launch of the MISTO platform, which is intended to become a tool for improving the quality of life of residents and the efficiency of community management. MISTO is designed to make the lives of residents more comfortable and safe. It is a digital tool that will allow for faster access to important services and information.

This was reported by the Odesa City Council.

The MISTO Digital Services Platform information and communication system is a modern cloud-based platform. It is designed to combine and digitalize city services and information resources into a single management system. It provides centralized access to information and services through a single city portal and mobile applications. In addition, it allows for quick access to data and interaction with relevant city services and departments.

Among the available functions of the mobile application for residents:

  • Online appointment to the ASC
  • Hourly parking service: a way to pay for parking
  • Barrier-free service: the Social Taxi service is an opportunity to get a service for people with limited mobility and people with disabilities
  • E-democracy: participation in surveys
  • Safety: alarm and emergency notifications, maps of shelters and Points of Unbreakability
  • Environmental monitoring: data on air quality and other environmental indicators
  • Interactive maps: public toilets, pump rooms and other locations

In the near future, they promise to make it possible to participate in voting on petitions. In addition, residents will be able to send inquiries to the Single Center for Citizens' Appeals and track public transportation.
