Kamikaze drone attack in Mykolaiv region leaves 900 homes without power

At night, air defense forces were working over the Mykolaiv region, and during the day, the region was hit by a series of drone strikes. No people were injured, but the infrastructure was damaged, leaving hundreds of households without electricity.
This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
On the night of May 4, air defense forces were operating in Mykolaiv region. The Air Command "South" reported that combat operations continued, and promised to make the details public later.
The day before, the region suffered several drone attacks. Thus, on May 3, Russian troops attacked the Kutsurubska community of Mykolaiv district with FPV drones three times. At approximately 14:00, the Halytsynivka community was also attacked. There were no casualties in either case.
In Voznesensk district, on May 2, at 10:55 a kamikaze drone, the type of which is still being established, hit the Buzka community. A warehouse was damaged, no one was injured.
On the evening of May 3, around 21:40, an attack by Shahed 131/136 drones was recorded in the Bashtanka district. As a result of the air defense operation, shrapnel damaged a power line. 892 subscribers were left without electricity.
On April 30 and in the morning of May 1, Russian troops repeatedly attacked settlements in Mykolaiv region using FPV drones. The Kutsurubska community suffered the most, with at least six strikes recorded.
At around 09:44 in Dniprovske village, a private house and a summer kitchen were damaged by an attack. In the evening of the same day, at 22:15, a drone hit an apartment building in the village of Dmytrivka, damaging the roof and windows.
The day before, on April 29, the enemy used FPV drones four times and shelled the Kutsurubska community with artillery at around 15:55. Dniprovske village suffered the most - in the evening, local residents came under fire.
On April 24, the Kutsurubska community was also attacked six times with FPV drones. One of them injured a 72-year-old woman in Dniprovske village. The shelling left more than 650 subscribers without electricity and caused a fire.
Ukraine is creating a network of centers to train citizens for national resistance - such centers will appear in Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions. Veterans will teach civilians the basics of resistance.
