Over the past day, Russian troops did not stop attacking the Kherson region. 19 settlements, including the regional center of Kherson, came under enemy fire. The shelling resulted in civilian casualties.

According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, the occupiers fired from artillery, dropped bombs and attacked with drones. The strikes damaged at least 10 private houses and several cars.

According to official information, one person was killed and five others were wounded in the shelling.

Residential neighborhoods in Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Kozatske, Stanislav, Kherson and more than a dozen other villages and towns came under enemy fire.

Prokudin also reported on an incident where a Russian drone carrying explosives fell into the yard of a private house, killing a man.

The incident occurred in Beryslav district near the village of Sablukivka. The man found the drone in his yard and decided to take it off the property. But while carrying it, it turned out that the drone was loaded with explosives, which exploded in the hands of the 47-year-old man. He was seriously injured and died before arriving at the hospital.

A similar situation occurred near Beryslav in the Kherson region, in a forest belt, when a man was injured by an unknown explosive object that detonated in his hands.

From April 30 to May 1, the occupiers targeted residential areas and social infrastructure facilities. The attacks damaged 5 multi-storey buildings, 12 private houses, a gas pipeline, a cell tower and a private car. Two civilians were injured.

On April 29, three multi-storey buildings, nine private houses, an agricultural company, a gas pipeline, a garage and several cars were damaged during the shelling. The shelling resulted in 12 civilians being injured.
