From April 19 to 21, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin declared an "Easter truce". Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy agreed to a full ceasefire if Russia truly keeps quiet.

Late in the evening of April 21, the Russians resumed their massive aerial terror with drone strikes, targeting Odesa. Civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, educational institutions, and cars were damaged and destroyed. There were also casualties - three people were injured.

Earlier, farms in the Odesa region were damaged in a nighttime air attack by Russian forces on April 19. Fires and civilian casualties also resulted from an air attack on Odesa by the Russian army on April 14. The strikes caused fires at several addresses.
