Russian army hits Kherson city center, railway station and factory

During the day, Russians shelled more than 40 settlements in the Kherson region. The attacks killed two people, wounded six others, and damaged housing, a factory, railway infrastructure, and mobile communications.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration , Oleksandr Prokudin.
Over the course of the day from May 18 to 19, Russian troops attacked more than 40 cities and towns in Kherson region. Both frontline villages and large settlements came under enemy fire and air strikes. In particular, attacks were recorded in Beryslav, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Stanislav and Kizomys.
The occupants hit residential areas and social infrastructure. As a result, 2 high-rise buildings and at least 17 private houses were destroyed. A factory, a mobile phone tower, several garages and cars were also damaged.
Two people were killed and six others were injured. The explosions damaged civilian facilities, including the railway infrastructure.
On the evening of May 18, Kherson shook again. Enemy shells hit residential buildings in the Central District. At least six private houses, a garage and a car were damaged. The windows were smashed, roofs were shattered, and in some places the ceilings were destroyed.
Fortunately, there were no casualties during the shelling. All services, including emergency crews, gas workers and power engineers, were promptly involved in the aftermath.
On May 17-18, more than 30 settlements in the Kherson region came under Russian shelling. The attacks killed one person and injured 13 others, including civilians in Beryslav and Bilozerka who were victims of drone strikes.
The fire damaged residential infrastructure: at least two high-rise buildings and ten private houses were destroyed. A gas station, telecommunication towers, gas pipelines, outbuildings, as well as a truck with humanitarian aid and several cars of local residents were hit.
